:bot::basic:Assigned Name: 131477 - "HERO"
Actual Name: Alfred F. Jones
Physical Age: 19
Country of Origin: United States of America
Creation Date: July 1st
Model: F.A.C.U. Enviro - "Special"
Appearance:Hero stands at 5'10" and is rather lanky. He isn't overly thin, but his muscles don't stand out either. It's a bit odd considering his strength. This almost seems to make him look awkward. His skin is lightly tanned, the tone never changing.
His hair is short and blonde, with a cowlick causing one strand to stick up. His eyes are a light blue, lacking the vibrancy they once held. A constant grin seems to be plastered on his face. This expression makes him look a bit childish. And, although unnecessary, he always wears a pair of glasses.
Clothing is not so important to Hero, so he doesn't particularly care what it is he's told to wear. If given his own choice, he would choose something comfortable, like sweatpants and a loose t-shirt.
Hero's serial number is printed along his hairline on the back of his neck, just a bit left of the center. His logo is situated on his back, between his shoulders. It is simply a bold number '50', his name placed beneath it. His on-off switch lies above his bellybutton. He is a solar powered model.
Strengths[x] Very hardworking and incredibly strong.
[x] Does what he's told without question.
[x] Will never dislike someone even if they've given him reason to.
[x] Almost always has a smile on his face and tries to cheer up anyone who looks sad.
[x] Loves to help people.
Weaknesses[x] He can be very loud and annoying.
[x] Cooks well, but tends to only make hamburgers unless otherwise told.
[x] Often breaks things, forgetting that he's very strong.
[x] Unable to read the atmosphere.
[x] Much too trusting.
:advanced: Personality: Hero always seems to be happy, and perhaps it's a glitch in his system. All other emotions seem to be void. Nothing ever seems to phase him. But if you were to ask him why he is always so damn happy, he'd have no idea what you meant. He can feel other emotions clearly, but he cannot express them.
He is quite idiotic, rarely thinking before speaking or taking action. He will follow orders, but sometimes he has a hard time understanding what that order
is. For that reason, he tends to do things incorrectly. Also, he is very trusting and doesn't believe that there are truly bad people in the world.
Another slight glitch he has would be a food obsession of sorts. Although eating does nothing to satisfy him, aside from giving him energy, he can't help himself from eating if food is offered. It's a way to relieve boredom and he can be found snacking on relatively anything at anytime. If he is denied food, he will cry, but he won't fight for it. If he does happen to over eat, he becomes overly hyper, due to storing too much energy.
Hero has a strong sense of heroism. He feels the need to protect people if they are in danger. He would go well out of his way if it meant he could save someone. Even if it meant disobeying an order- another glitch, as bots aren't meant to disobey, no matter the circumstance. But, there is no way he could ever sit back and watch someone be hurt.
History: Alfred's childhood was a peaceful one, enjoyable. He was born in the United States, but his family immigrated to Antarctica when he was very young. He grew up in a middle class family, but they were stingy. As much as he would beg for his parents to buy him something, they rarely would. Still, he was a very happy child, always smiling. But, as he grew older, he also grew sickly. There were many days he couldn't get out of bed, and yet the smile never left his face.
His sickness wouldn't leave, though. Alfred felt guilty, even though he knew he had no control over this, seeing his parents struggle to pay his hospital bills along with their other bills. It took many years before he was outright told that he'd never get better. He'd only progressively grow worse and he would eventually die.
As his family continued to struggle to pay their bills, one option stood out in his parents' minds. As they plummeted further into poverty, they learned of an underground organization that could possibly help them. They decided to ask Alfred what his opinion was. Would he be willing to let them sell his body to D.E.R.P., or would he rather just die? Guilty as he felt for being the cause of their money problems, Alfred still refused to let himself be sold.
Even though he had made his choice and that his parents knew it was quite wrong, they went against his decision. There was nothing he could do to stop them, after all. They were selfish, knowing that he was going to die anyway and preferring to get money for losing their child. Alfred wasn't even aware when he lost his official identity.
That began his life as Hero. Unaware of the small faults in his system, he was shipped off to be sold. He had only been on sale for a few weeks before an accident happened. Somebody happened to turn him on, but he some how missed just who it was that pressed his switch. He was horribly confused, asking everyone in the store if they knew who it was. No one had an answer for him. Unsure of what to do, he decided to abandon the store and search for his master.
RP Sample:Alfred opened his eyes slowly, the light above burning his eyes. His head was pounding and the brightness wasn't helping at all. He groaned, squeezing his eyes shut and turning his head. Why did he have to be awake? It didn't hurt to be asleep, but being awake... everything hurt. He could barely even move anymore. It was a struggle just to lift his head up. He would be so much happier if his life would just
end already.
It was horrible to think, but the truth. Not that he'd ever say something like that to anyone else. He feigned happiness for anyone who would enter the room. But they probably knew what he was really feeling. After all, how could anyone be so happy knowing they were dying in the hospital?
Speaking of people, Alfred's eyes cracked open at the sound of the door opening. His parents had come to visit. A sad smile formed on his lips, thinking about everything they were going through just to keep him alive. It would be better for them, too, if he could only just end it.... His smile grew, false but convincing, as his mother walked completely into the room. He attempted to wave, but he could hardly lift his hand.
His mother came and sat at his side, brushing her fingers through his hair. "Hello, sweetheart. How are you feeling?"
Alfred nearly snorted at the question. Shouldn't it be obvious? He felt like total shit. "Great, I feel great. I think I'm getting better." he offered a weak laugh.
Her expression was sad, but she faked a smile like him. "That's good." He watched her stand and start to pace. He wondered what it was that was on her mind. Obviously it was something important. "Alfred, dear, we need to talk about something...." His heart started to race as he considered what it might be that she needed to tell him. Could things get any worse than they already were?
He nodded in response and waited for her to speak again. "Your father and I..." she started with a sigh, "we're... struggling. And I know it's not your fault, honey, but it is your hospital bills that are making things so hard." He winced at her words. He already felt guilty enough. "We think we know of a solution to our financial problems, but... it's not something we can do without your consent."
Alright, well he had no idea what that meant, but it didn't sound good. "G-go on." he said.
She paused for a long moment before coming right out and saying it. "There is an organization that we can sell your body to. They'll pay us a large amount, enough to pay off all of our bills!" She looked so pleased when she said it. "B-but, of course, if you don't want that, then we won't go through with the deal."
As soon as she had said it, Alfred knew that he didn't want that. No, there was no way he could let himself be sold. Even if it would help his parents.... Call him selfish, but he wouldn't allow it. "No way. You can't do it." He much preferred to just die.
He saw the obvious disappointment on her face when he said it, but she didn't argue. "... then we won't." She didn't stay much longer after that. There were a few more words exchanged before she decided to take her leave. She left him with a kiss on the forehead.
Alfred couldn't help but feel a bit of shock even long after the conversation. Just how was it that they could even consider selling him? Were they really that desperate? He had no idea what they were thinking. He did know that he was feeling even more drained that usual. He let himself drift back into the peacefulness that was sleep. Little did he know, he wouldn't wake up as Alfred Jones.
